Terry White was born July 31, 1929 in Denton, TX. White worked in the Public Affairs office from the Gemini through Shuttle eras. His primary job was single-handedly producing the Manned Spacecraft Center publication, the Roundup, an eight page newspaper that came out bi-weekly. He also wrote and edited most of the extraordinary press kits which NASA provided to the world news media prior to each Apollo mission.

 

Doug Ward describes White as “one of the most admirable characters I knew during my career in NASA public affairs.” Terry White passed away in Colorado in the 1990s.
